Overview
A proptech experience for exploring residential buildings in 3D with apartment-type switching, floorplan syncing, and AR preview from the mobile browser.
The Challenge
- Render complex building models in real time with acceptable device performance.
- Support AR behavior across iOS and Android with different runtime constraints.
- Connect interactive floor plans to 3D scene state.
- Allow configurable guided tours without hardcoding camera paths.
My Solution
- Implemented LOD switching with lightweight first-load model states.
- Built dual-path AR support: WebXR for Android and USDZ Quick Look for iOS.
- Linked floor plan overlays to model node selection for synchronized exploration.
- Introduced JSON-configurable camera tours and shareable view presets for non-dev teams.
